From this point-of-view, it is not god who creates man, but the human mind which has come up with this ingenious invention. Since people believe in this idea, then it might very well be stated that it is real and that the degree of reality of an object or being does not depend on its physical existence, but rather on the consequences which it has upon the others (taking into account the huge number of people who believe in god then we could very well state that he is real). The only conclusion that can be reached is that the concept of god and reason have nothing in common.
God being something which goes beyond reason, it is obvious that reason can not be used as an instrument in order to prove its existence. The corollary is that science can not be used in order to demonstrate his existence. What remains is naturally philosophy, but here we risk losing ourselves in a sea of speculation. Taking into account the situation the solution is perhaps to appeal to intuition, which involves a type of knowledge different from philosophical speculation and scientific reasoning as well......
