PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

The questions I prepared are segmented into three categories for better understanding and brevity. Category 'A' deals with introductory ice breakers that aimed at introducing the applicant as well as making him comfortable with the session. In this stage, the questions were based on logical thinking in order to get a glimpse of applicant's perception of the job and organization in general.

When presented it also reflected the work experience and professional stance of the applicant. However question bullet # 1 seemed to confuse the applicants on the contrary. I presume the placement of this question should have come later.

Category B. dealt with behavioral interviews as evident from the choice of standard behavioral questions. The formulae of these questions helped a great deal in the individual examination of the applicant, his responses towards untoward situations. His leadership, teamwork and organizational capabilities could also be surfaced. This set of questions played a major role in developing an affinity for the applicant or conversely in deciding whether this person is useful for my firm or not.

Category C. comprised of further probing psycho-analysis packed in subtle questions related to career, field of study, productivity planning and the like, these questions helped me decide what department and genre of work should this person be most beneficial in. however, at this stage I had made up my mind regarding the job offer.

EVALUATION

The aforementioned questions were formulated in light of taking out the maximum and accurate information required to hire the right person. Though some questions were nerve tingling on part of the applicant but these too, in my opinion were well placed for judging their ability to withstand nervousness and….....
