One of the primary weaknesses associated with this paper are the numerous grammatical, punctuation and syntactical errors that the author commits, and which have a tendency to distract the reader from the overall verbal portrait that the author (still) successfully paints about China. There are idiomatic errors, errors in voice number, and omissions in commas that, had these errors been corrected, would have made for a more smooth read and enabled the reader to fully immerse himself within the author's prose. Additionally, the structure of the essay is a little confusing for the reader. The last paragraph in particular detracts from the overall cohesion of this essay since it appears to simply function as a series of notes that the author is writing for his or her own benefit.

Additionally, the relative brevity of this essay detracts from its overall impact.

Although details about the author's management practice course certainly do not compare to descriptions of visiting historical monuments such as the Great Wall of China, a cursory description of his time spent taking this course would have offered a nice contrast to the outside wonders of foreign food, culture, and history that the trip seemed to seamlessly blend. This omission of the author's is again most noticeable in his structuring of the article -- which essentially chronicles his initial airplane landing and ride to the hotel to the last leg of the trip with no references to the time and the value of that time spent between. The overall effect of this form of structuring the essay is that it feels a little rushed….....
